The call for the third second round of Social Media Volunteers for Heritage is open. Applications should be sent on the base of an on-line application form and questionnaire which you can find here.
The deadline for applications is March, 31st, 2018.
We explicitly encourage volunteers planning to apply as Social Media Volunteers for Heritage to use the possibility to consult European Heritage Volunteers before formally applying.
The volunteers will be selected by European Heritage Volunteers and Europa Nostra. Applicants will be informed about the result of the selection process till April, 18th, 2018.
The selected volunteers will be invited to the Social Media Volunteers for Heritage Training Seminar taking place from June, 12th, to June, 16th, 2018, in Weimar, Germany.
The Social Media Volunteers for Heritage 2018 cycle is part of European Heritage Volunteers' project "Best practice models of volunteering for European Cultural Heritage" on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Therefore, applicants should be aware that they shall report during the year 2018 about particular activities linked to this project: Either they can report from the European Heritage Summit in Berlin taking place just after the Social Media Volunteers for Heritage Training Seminar, either they can visit during July resp. August 2018 one or more European Heritage Volunteers Projects in Germany and report about them.
